Tips for a Successful Photo Shoot!!!

Hygiene is very important!

(Ladies)

 No chipped nail polish

 No  Hairy under arms/Legs

(Men/Women) Moisturize your legs, arms etc.

*If  children are not going to be photographed, Please DO NOT BRING THEM!! I Love kids, BUT there are sometimes hazardous locations, and they can be a distraction.

if bringing a person to chapperone or assist you only bring 1 person not an entourage, as too many people become a distraction.

Always bring a comfortable walking shoe, because during a photo shoot you may have to walk around to different locations.

if Photographing where you may be in water, Please make sure for your comfort to bring dry clothes to change into, a towel and a plastic bag to put your wet garments in.

Come prepared!!! if your not having your makeup done by an artist on the set, come with makeup and hair already done.

have your wardrobe already prepped and prepared for wardrobe changes.

RAW Natural Born Artist 2012

I was so honored when I was approached about being a featured Artist for a RAW Showcase! RAW Natural born Artist showcases Artist's around the country. The event was called The Menagerie, after that 1st showcase I got the honor yet again to come back and show my work for RAW's The Blend.
Both events were phenomenal!!! it was exciting and I met alot of AWESOME talented Artist!


RAW gives underground artist an outlet and recognition for your natural born talents!

2012 has brought many Blessings, for myself, family and my Artistry of Photography. I look forward to 2013 and for the upcoming endeavors!

2011 has been Blessed and 2012 will be Greater!

2011 has been great thus far, I've met so many new amazing hard working people in the industry, designers,mua, Editors,Publishers,Graphic Designers, Models, and other Photogs.  

Oct. 1st The Breast cancer calendar I worked so hard on for nearly a year launched! Called Breast Cancer Exposed... 

I had a 6 page feature spread in Chicago based magazine Vibrant, and numerous photos in Unique Brides Bridal magazine soon to hit stands...

I can see lots of great opportunities, with future travel, it's truely sooo amazing that when you have a burning passion and desire and you work hard doors start opening. I am very humble and help anyone where I can...because business is a partnership, you become family.

Unmasking the Big C Event

Oct. 1st 2011 the event that we all have been anticipating is approaching. Unmasking the Big C presented by Carrie's Touch Breast Cancer Orgnization. This event will be an upscale Harlem Renaissance theme... There will be Dinner, dancing and the unveiling of the highly anticipated project that has been in the works for quite sometime now.

Tickets are $80.00 all proceeds go toward Carrie's Touch Breast Cancer Awareness Organization.

The "Big C" is real and early detection is a must! Please support us in bringing awareness to the community  and help celebrate the lives of the survivors! Tickets can be purchased @ http://www.CarriesTouch.org

HOT Magazine Shoot

 Yesterday I got the Honor to work with some beautiful Talented ladies...I Love when WE as women can come together with ONE Vision!

Designer Maisha Bahati is one of Sac's finest new Designer's her dresses are to die for!!! She came in styled the models and created some HOT Looks!

MakeUp Artist Tisha McKnight always amazes me with her artistic skills, Focused and very dedicated to the looks she creates!

The Models came out in 100 degrees, even wore fur coats with NO complaints! Just struck Fierce pose after pose...honored and dedicated these models put in major work and studied before hand to make sure they were at their best!!!

Thanks to All of these Beautiful Ladies....  Yesterday was very Inspiring to me!


I have a Ton of editing ahead of me with a deadline and only 8 images will go into the magazine and wow this makes my job of selection sooooooo HARD!!!!!!

  Fabulous Ladies came together today...with nothing but the same goals and purpose!!! To make it HOT!!! Tisha Mcknight makeup Artist did it again...came through with looks of FIRE.... thanks to the ladies that came and put in work on the hair, and assisted during the shoot much Love to ya!!!!
